Always in action: LEAB at 112RESCUE

For only the second time ever, the 112RESCUE trade fair was held in Dortmund from 5 to 8 June. As at last year's premiere, LEAB was right in the thick of it. The trade fair for fire protection, rescue, disaster and civil defence is an ideal platform for us to showcase our solutions for reliable mobile power supplies for vehicles in the public safety sector.

Curious looks and words of praise

"We made some interesting contacts and had some good discussions about our products. Many visitors were particularly interested in our new products," says Sven Fridrischak from Sales.

The new products include, for example, the TS Pro DC-DC charger, one of the first devices to comply with the new version of DIN 14679 from February 2024. This plays a particularly important role in fire engines with a power generator or a portable pump. It gently charges the starter batteries required for the auxiliary devices in the vehicle.

Longer and further

β€˜The long development period for the product has only just been completed with numerous tests,’ says Sven Fridrischak. "The visitors to our stand were very curious. We will be able to deliver from the beginning of August, but we are already accepting pre-orders."

In addition, the ability to expand the capacity of the LPS II proved to be a very interesting topic for the industry - especially for command vehicles that require a long uninterruptible power supply. The capacity can be significantly increased by integrating additional lithium batteries such as the G4-280 Ah or G4-100 Ah. There was also a good deal of positive feedback from visitors to our stand.

Pleasures big and small

Slightly smaller guests also gathered around our stand: As part of the popular children's fire brigade rally organised by the Association of Fire Brigades in North Rhine-Westphalia, some schoolchildren came to us on Saturday to find out the name of our infeed device - which was great fun for us last year.

Sven Fridrischak was also impressed by the sight of a Dortmund fire brigade ambulance with an integrated PowAirBox II. At the beginning of the year, the fire brigade decided to equip all new rescue service vehicles with our technology.

The vehicle and the product create a great overall picture. I'm delighted that the Dortmund fire brigade has opted for our solutions.

After a short summer break, our next trade fair date is the "Combating Fire" roadshow from 3 to 6 September 2024 at four different locations in Schleswig-Holstein.

We are looking forward to it!
