Progress is being made on the construction site of our extension in Busdorf.
After the ground-breaking ceremony -celebrated at the end of 2020 – there has been a big process in the construction of our new building. With the new building, we aim to create further capacity for the areas of production, quality management and development. Under the responsibility of Mr Barkholz, the responsible construction manager for the project, Boysen Bauunternehmen GmbH from Böklund was able to implement important steps on the way to completing the extension building.
The foundation base has already been laid. Furthermore, concrete supports have been raised and the steel-concrete walls erected. Thus, the concrete work on the ground floor is almost complete. A new vehicle hall is also part of the extension. For this purpose, walls have been buried so that the walls can then be raised. The concrete beams were lifted into position by a 130-tonne crane.
Progress is being made on the construction site of our extension in Busdorf.
The ceiling tiles will be laid at the end of calendar week 20. As soon as the ceiling work is completed, a staircase will be installed that will later lead to the first floor. Furthermore, fire protection measures have been taken: By placing a fire wall between the existing building and the new building, fire will be prevented from spreading to the other building if a fire breaks out.
Well supported: Preparations for laying the ceiling tiles.
Our extension project, which is funded by the state of Schleswig-Holstein, the federal government and the EU, is taking concrete shape thanks to the great commitment of everyone involved. We are looking forward to the completion and will keep you informed about further progress.
