Conversion to the PowAirBox II made easy - full compatibility guaranteed

Anyone thinking of converting their emergency vehicles from the first generation PowAirBox to the PowAirBox II will be delighted. Because we have made the step to the new system for power and compressed air supply as simple as possible.

During development, great care was taken to ensure that the PowAirBox II remains fully compatible with your vehicle: The installation dimensions are unchanged from the first generation of the PowAirBox, and the installation depth has even been significantly reduced. This means that no changes need to be made to the bodywork for the conversion. The fit of the coupling is also unchanged and fully compatible, so the installation in the appliance housing does not need to be changed. Vehicles with PowAirBox I and PowAirBox II can be connected to the same coupling.

The new PowAirBox II is fully compatible with its predecessor model.

Eight steps to the PowAirBox II:

  1. Remove the six external screws with a hexagon socket (2.5 mm) and carefully pull the first-generation PowAirBox out of the body opening.

  2. Remove the connections in the following order: 230 V plug, terminal cables A to C and finally the compressed air line.

  3. Take the enclosed Y adapter and plug in the terminal cables A and B.

  4. Glue the seal onto the PowAirBox II.

  5. Connect the Y adapter (three-pin) to the A/B connection of the new device.

  6. Connect the start preventer C (two-pin) to the C terminal as usual.

  7. Plug in the 230 V plug and insert the compressed air line into the appropriate socket.

  8. Carefully position the PowAirBox II in the body and insert the screws hand-tight so that the seal is compressed.

And that's it: Your new PowAirBox II is ready to use straightaway.

Upgrade to the PowAirBox II: Simple and efficient
