Strong Partnership: our Collaboration with ENDRESS Power Generators

ENDRESS has been synonymous with quality and reliability in the manufacture of power generators for over a century. The MelfBox impresses

Around six years ago, the sales manager for emergency vehicles (authorities and organisations with security tasks) became aware of LEAB products at a conference - and a partnership was formed that continues to this day.

“Discovering the MelfBox a few years ago had a lasting impact on our business,’ says André van Gerven, Emergency Vehicle Sales Manager at ENDRESS. ‘The technology impressed me right from the start and we have now equipped a large proportion of our devices with the smart feed-in system from LEAB.”

Always maintaining the Overview

According to the sales manager, the big difference compared with other systems is the ability to monitor the entire battery charging system.

“Many other normal charging plugs will signal that current is available, but not whether it reaches the right places when it is fed in. With the MelfBox, on the other hand, we can monitor the entire process and ensure that all systems connected to the battery charging system are working properly. This is particularly important in the emergency vehicle sector,” emphasises André van Gerven.

Light into the Dark

The technology is used in many ENDRESS products, including various lighting mast systems - the large, powerful emergency power generators on wheels.

The open-air site at RETTmobil currently offers an impression of the devices, which have an output of 35 and 45 kVA and could therefore light up an entire football stadium. If you look closely, you will see a MelfBox on all the demonstration units at RETTmobil, providing a reliable supply unit for the ENDRESS devices.

In addition to the quality of the devices from LEAB, André van Gerven also appreciates the straightforward collaboration: “We have already equipped several hundred devices with a MelfBox and I really only have positive things to report - LEAB always works in a solution-orientated, productive and smooth manner. From data, drawings to technical support - we always receive quick and efficient answers that help us out immediately,” says the sales manager.
