Sustainability in focus: plastic-free packaging for our products

From the end of March, we will be saying goodbye to conventional plastic ziplock bags for the majority of our products and will be using sustainable bubble bags made from paper instead. This environmentally friendly alternative protects our products and accessories just as reliably as before - but without creating plastic waste. A real win for the environment.

Think globally, act locally

By making the change, we are not only reducing plastic consumption, but also focussing on regional added value and short transport routes. This is because the innovative packaging comes from Papair, a company based in northern Germany. In addition to bubble bags, the young company also produces bubble wrap, pre-cut sheets and padded cushions – all without the use of plastic or adhesives.

Why this change is important

Plastic waste is one of the most urgent environmental problems of our time. By switching to paper packaging, we are making a direct contribution to reducing waste and conserving valuable resources. Our new bubble bags are recyclable and fit in perfectly with our corporate philosophy: innovation and responsibility go hand in hand for us.

The North German company Papair offers a sustainable alternative to conventional plastic packaging material.

Built to last

For us, sustainability doesn't just start with the packaging – it's in all our products. The majority of the components in our mobile power supply solutions are ‘Made in Germany’. This means fewer replacements, less raw material consumption, less electronic waste and a correspondingly long service life and reliability. A sustainable approach that pays off for both our customers and the environment.

More than just packaging

Switching to plastic-free packaging is just another step on our path to greater sustainability. We have been consistently focussing on environmentally friendly solutions for years:

  • ISO 14001-certified environmental management – our promise for active environmental protection

  • Photovoltaic system & pellet heating for a green energy supply at our company headquarters

  • E-mobility in the vehicle fleet – the proportion of electric vehicles is growing steadily

  • E-bike leasing & roofed bicycle parking for sustainable mobility

  • Ecological projects on the company premises – from wildflower meadows to reptile refuges

We are proud to make our contribution to an environmentally friendly future – and are delighted to welcome everyone who is travelling this path with us. Thanks to the Papair team for the great cooperation.
